FishFrom Technologies Ltd is seeking an initial equity investment of £150,000 to carry out the University Trials and develop the proprietary technology. An additional £1m will then be sought to build and complete Phase 1 of FishFrom Ltd’s development plan. This will complement other sources of funding.
The University trials are expected to take 12 months all in. However after about 7 months we will have had the first real data back from the trials and, if successful, we begin fundraising for Phase 1. Phase 1 is a 2-year prototype project and includes the installation of our new technology as part of the RAS equipment. The project culminates with the harvest of 2 generations of salmon each of 25 tonnes. This will determine the building blocks of our RAS technology with performance proven for genetics, feed, equipment, as well as taste and growth of the salmon. FishFrom would own a £3.5m RAS facility and have a proprietary technology to exploit across the global aquaculture industry. This then leads to Phase 2 – the 3,600 tonne RAS facility based on the same site as the Phase 1 prototype.
